“The moments that challenged me the most ended up shaping how I think and lead.”

    – Jordan Shaheen

About the Host

Jordan Shaheen is the host of The Best Mistake I Ever Made, a long-form interview podcast focused on the failures that quietly shape better decisions, leaders, and careers.

Originally from Missouri, Jordan has lived and worked across the U.S., all the way from Los Angeles to New York City – experiences that shaped his interest in how environment, timing, and pressure influence decision-making. He studied history in college, where he first developed a passion for live broadcasting and storytelling – a path that led to years of experience in radio, sportscasting, talk shows, podcasts, and live interviews.

Professionally, Jordan works in revenue strategy and operations within the health-tech space, partnering closely with founders and leadership teams on growth, execution, and organizational design. His work and writing have been recognized within the revenue operations community, where he has received multiple industry awards for experience and thought leadership.

Despite that recognition, Jordan remains most interested in the lessons that come from missteps, missed assumptions, and decisions that didn’t play out as planned. The Best Mistake I Ever Made was created to give space to those stories – the ones that rarely make it into bios, but often matter most.
